This is a remarkable,painting.It has an outer area, that is empty, a confining space.With the understanding the space has to be at the same time the faces shape.The canvas is the area that is filled with a precise choice of color, the eyes are not white pigment they are hued a subdued,colour,a subtle tone, they seem to show a visual sadness for me.The piece is very exquisite (beautiful). Thanks for sharing the work.
